These training programmes (in downloadable eBook formats) have been prepared by Chris Frapwell, trainer to the UK's Bronze Medal Commonwealth Winning Marathon Runner, Dan Robinson, to ensure that you get effective fitness training prior to running a Marathon. You will literally have one of the UK's leading running coaches guiding you through your training and getting you across the line faster than you thought possible.
Chris is a middle distance/endurance coach at Stroud & District Athletic club and has, because of his success,  been invited to speak at various sporting events on topics ranging from 'Development from Young Athlete to Senior' to 'Planning a Year for a Road Runner'.
Chris coaches athletes of all ages from under 13s to veterans who range in ability from Club Standard to International, and who compete in distances of over 800m to the Marathon. He has been coaching seriously for about 12 years now and Chris’ Young Athletes group has developed into one of the best in the country, attracting athletes who are prepared to travel 30-40 miles 2-3 times/week to train!

In 2007 Chris was named Performance Coach of the Year at the Gloucestershire Sports Awards, and in 2009 he won the England Athletics Puma Excellence in Coaching Award for Endurance.

Dan Robinson: Commonwealth Bronze Medal winner, and who has represented the UK in the Marathon at two Olympics, two World Championships, the European Championships as well as various others.
